Hi, What’s your name?
What do you do for living?
I work as a Desire & Pleasure Coach, guiding people to have sex that is fulfilling and in resonance with who they are and what they want. On a day to day basis I create workshops, prepare women’s groups, coach and do everything related to running your own business (marketing, taxes, lead generation, sales,…)
What is your background? Were you doing something different before?
I was doing something completely different (although I am discovering more and more parallels). I was always searching for the right thing, started with maths and physics studies. Pivoting to auditioning at acting schools. Pivoting to studying theater- and media science and education and landing a job in a film production company in Munich. There, I worked my way from internship to being a producer to being burned out… And that’s where I made the next pivot in my life and started a coaching program based on the principles of Orgasmic Meditation® and starting my own business full time in 2018.
How did you end up doing what you do?
As said before, the burn out (in combination with other health issues) had me rethink where I am going in my life and if I am heading in the right direction. The decision to start something as unconventional as Orgasmic Meditation was not a rational one but one that my gut (or my pussy as I would now say) made. I just knew that there’s something there for me to learn and discover and grow. From there I went to New York to do the coaching program where I learned how to put my attention on others, how to draw out their brilliance and how to connect people to their desire. I didn’t want to stop there, but wanted to learn how to lead workshops and not just work with people 1-on-1 and that’s why I took another advanced coaching program to deepen my understanding of orgasm, sexuality, desire. I learned a lot about the victim triangle and how to get off of it, started teaching classes and took many courses for my own personal development. That’s the skill I need most: to feel clear about my own desire so I can be a stable guide for my clients as they manoeuvre through the often unknown territory of desire and pleasure.
Where are you usually working?
For a while I worked exclusively from home, but started to feel more and more isolated. Especially on days where I don’t coach or teach I love being in an environment that inspires me to work and gives space for connection and people who remind me to take breaks. That’s why I am more than happy that I found Twostay. And so now I mainly work from here. 😉
What is the biggest struggle in your daily job?
Because I am working alone and there is no one I am responsible to other than myself I sometimes get lost in self doubt. What really helps me there is to see the impact my work has and remind myself that there are people who need what I do.
What is the most rewarding thing about your job?
Seeing the look on the faces of my clients when they discover something about themselves that they didn’t know before. Especially when they re-connect with parts of their bodies that were numb before and the sensations come back and they suddenly see their own wisdom and power. That is what makes it all worth it.
Anything you want to share with us or with someone who is thinking of doing what you do?
To anyone who wants to embark on this journey of self-discovery, especially when it is connected to sexuality, I want to say: Keep going!! It often doesn’t feel like the right way, it is uncomfortable, but it is soooooo rewarding time and time again!!
Why do you like Twostay?
I love the atmosphere here, the community that is developing, our lunches together, the idea of using unused spaces during the day. I love the simplicity of it and the ease when I am here. I love how focused everyone is working and how light the mood is in the breaks. I feel totally accepted here. And I loooove how affordable it is and how flexible the pricing is!
Can you link your social media channels if you have them?
